L'histoire se déroule une décennie après Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE! Le local du club de défense est désormais occupé par 5 nouveaux garçons : Kyôtarô, Ryôma, Ichiro, Nanao et Taishi. Alors qu'ils décident de prendre du bon temps dans les bains publics se situant à côté du lycée, une mystérieuse créature se nommant Karls apparait. Il s'agit en réalité d'un prince originaire du royaume de Honyala Land qui est arrivé sur Terre (un des territoires appartenant au royaume) dans le but de prouver à son père qu'il a les épaules pour devenir le futur roi. Pour cela, il souhaite faire régner le bonheur dans le monde entier. Malheureusement,Furanui, son frère, se bat aussi pour la couronne et n'a pas du tout la même la même vision du pouvoir que lui. Dans le but de stopper les monstres que Furanui invoque grâce à l'aide des chevaliers Edelstein, Karls demande à nos cinq garçons de lui venir en aide en devenant ses chevaliers.
