Casper the Friendly Ghost doesn't like to haunt and wishes he could be in Mother Gooseland. He gets his wish and frightens the spider away from Little Miss Muffet. He them comes upon the old lady in the shoe but frightens her away, also. He is depressed, but when he rescues Red Riding Hood from the wolf, Mother Goose rewards him by making up a rhyme about him.

Casper emerges from a subway station, following a crowd of scared strangers. He encounters a man who said "see the wonders of the Moon for ten cents," and offered a sight through a telescope. Casper scares the man away, then uses the telescope to see the Moon. He then flies to the Moon for a visit.

Casper the Friendly Ghost attends a premiere of one of his own cartoons and is interviewed in the lobby. He is asked how he happened to become a movie star, and gives a lively account of his Hollywood venture. The telephone operators, who have never seen a ghost before, flee in panic, and so do the script writers, animators and color artists.

Casper travels to Montague Castle in England and meets and helps Sir Montague, the spirit of the manor, who's unable to leave until his missing heir can be found.

Casper has a hard time keeping a pig clean for the County Fair when all the pig wants to do is play in the mud.

Épisode 46 - Ghost Writers

25 avril 1958

Two writers at Paramount Cartoon Studios try to think of good stories for Casper the Friendly Ghost. They review scenes from "Casper's Spree Under The Sea," "Once Upon A Rhyme" and "To Boo Or Not To Boo." Eventually Casper himself emerges from a poster on the wall and scares the writers away. Casper explains that he thought up that gag to end the cartoon!

Épisode 47 - Which is Witch

2 mai 1958

Spooky and Casper have the ballpark all to themselves, except that Casper has a date to take Wendy to the beach. Spooky is angry and plays mean tricks on them- first with a giant crab, then with an octopus. Wendy angrily blames Casper for all of Spooky's tricks and demands to be taken home. Wendy the Good Little Witch makes her first and only appearance through the theatrical shorts.

Épisode 48 - Good Scream Fun

When a crate containing a baby ostrich named Ozzie gets left behind, Casper decides to bring Ozzie to his new home.

Casper must save the world from a mad scientist bent on its destruction.

The Spookpreme Court decides to take Casper's powers away until he can actually scare someone. As the cartoon progresses, Casper constantly forgets he does not possess his powers, which angers those he tries to help. Eventually he manages to scare a group of ghosts and regain his powers.
