Ewout Genemans has been working with the police officers in Rotterdam for six months. He follows six couples who work emergency services, day and night. Ewout experiences all kinds of things with them: catching thieves, traffic accidents, fights and confused people with suicidal thoughts. Ewout sympathizes with the officers and gets to know the person behind the uniform.

In a residential neighborhood in Rotterdam, a dispute between neighbors escalates when knives are drawn. Officers Nadia and Joyce have to calm things down. Ewout witnesses Keashia and Brian risking their own lives to remove a pedestrian from the highway. Meanwhile, Jacco and Guido find a firearm on a very young suspect.

Meanwhile, Andrea and Ulubat are the first responders at a serious collision.
