To the haunting rhythms of local blues, mismatched detectives Rex Randolph and Cal Calhoun operate out of an office on Bourbon Street. Young, suave, Ivy League-educated lawyer Rex comes from an aristocratic Louisiana family. Cal, a former policeman from the bayou country, is more mature, more casual and decidedly more rumpled.
