Fueled by stories of the past, master craftsman Tim McClellan completes inspired transformations of old homes in Arizona’s iconic mining “boomtowns” in Boomtown Builder. The season features Tim as he draws ideas from the vivid history of each property to complete beautiful renovations for clients in the once-mining towns of Cottonwood and Jerome. While he adds modern finishes in his designs, Tim also helps families preserve original character when he salvages and repurposes materials unique to each home.

Épisode 1 - 1912 Baker's House

Tim McClellan is called in to help a local sheriff and his wife modernize their home while keeping its historical bones intact. Years of bad renovations, an ugly design and a challenging layout have stripped the house of its original character, challenging Tim to come up with new designs and builds in order to breathe life back into the home.

This monumental restoration creates special obstacles for Tim, including the removal of a load-bearing beam and custom-built furniture inspired by historical pieces. In the end, Tim overcomes challenge after challenge to create one of the most inspiring homes in town.
