On the other hand, Ali and Hasan deal with a completely different problem; They have been suspended from office due to the slander thrown at them and they are waiting for the case to be resolved. On a stormy night when Ali sails by boat, he rescues Defne from the waves, whom he finds ecstatic state. As Defne enters Ali's life with her secrets; she will drag Ozan towards them.

Ozan, Defne ile sevgili olduklarını söyledikten sonra Defne’nin korkulu tavırları Ali’nin dikkatinden kaçmaz. Salih ise Defne’yi sahiplenmiş ve onun kendisine gelene kadar yanlarında kalmasının doğru olacağına karar vermiştir. Ali bu durumdan çok hoşlanmaz, Defne’nin bir şeyler sakladığından emindir. Defne’nin bir şeyler saklayıp, iş çevirdiğine inanan Ali, Defne’nin Murat’la olan bağını çözmüştür. Onların neyin peşinde olduğunu anlamaya çalışır. Defne denizin içinde belli bir noktada sabitlediği altınları alabilmek için Murat’la planlar yapar ancak Ozan’ın gözleri hep üzerlerindedir. Murat’la attıkları her adım boşa düşen Defne’nin hareketlerinden şüphelenen Ali, Defne’nin bile akıl edemeyeceği bir adım atarak tüm dengeleri bozmaya yönelik bir hamle yapar! Ozan ise Defne’nin karşısına geçer ve kendisinden çaldığı altın çantasını geri alabilmek için bir teklifte bulunur. Ancak çanta konusunda hiçbir şey ikilinin hesap ettiği gibi gitmez!

Ali hem Defne’yi hem Ozan’ı ters köşeye yatırarak kendi davasında kilit bir rol oynayabileceği altın çantasını almıştır. Defne ise artık Ozan’ın tehdidiyle bu çantayı Ali’den alıp Ozan’a götürme mecburiyetindedir. Gençlerin ünlü bir müzik grubunu getirerek yapmayı planladıkları konser organizasyonun gecesinde Defne amacına ulaşmak için fırsat kollar ve Ali hakkında kimselerin bilmediği bir sırra erişir. Ozan ise Defne’nin iplerini elinde tutmaktadır. Defne, Ali ve Ozan arasında sıkışmışken Murat için istemediği bir kararı verme eşiğine gelir.
