Épisode 1 - The First Job

Han Seok Joo slips away on a train from the police raid with a lending hand from Ji Soo Hyun. It's the first time they meet, but Soo Hyun knows Seok Joo. With her photographer in an accident, she makes him an offer. Seok Joo accepts, but in return, he asks her to track down her daughter.

With his daughter in the hospital recovering from heart surgery, Seok Joo heads out to work on a tip. He infiltrates Chaeum Clinic and takes photos of Dr. Kim raping one of his celebrity patients. The pictures are promising, but with the leak, Dr. Kim offers to cure his daughter for the pictures. However, Seok Joo ignores Dr. Kim's offer and sends in the photos for publishing.

With the photos desperately needed by Soo Hyun, Seok Joo is taken to a nearby hospital by locals who discovered him half dead. He gets treated, and while still unconscious, the doctor finds Soo Hyun's business card and calls her office. Meanwhile, a man appears at Sunday Syndicate pretending to be Soo Hyun's close friend.

Upon hearing his accounts, Soo Hyun checks the secret diary given to her by Kim Hyung Se, the doctor who committed suicide.

When Eun Ho meets Hae Joo in secret, they make a getaway from a couple of fangirls and get into a severe accident. At the scene, Seok Joo thinks twice but ends up holding up his end of the deal and takes the photos he needs to save Se Eun.

They decide to move in, and while Seok Joo visits his daughter at the hospital, Soo Hyun to taken away.

They use all resources to find out who took her, but it's Seok Joo who finds footage at the nearby convenience store to figure out that the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office took her. Meanwhile, deputy chief prosecutor, Cha Woo Jin, and prosecutor, Kim Myung Jin, start to interrogate Soo Hyun.

Meanwhile, Seok Joo takes things in his own hands and attempts to get Soo Hyun out.

Soo Hyun relaxes at her house and considers resigning from her position, leaving Sunday Syndicate in chaos without their chief editor. Later, Hyung Joon visits her to see what she has on her mind.

Things get tense between Soo Hyun and Hyung Joon, both threatening one another, testing each other's loyalty. However, for Sunday Syndicate, the show must go on, and with Seo Young Mi as the temporary chief editor, they go after Jang Soo Young, the leader of an idol group Macaron who has an unusual hobby of taking upskirt photos of female singers. But when the team tries to get close, they end up being the ones getting their picture taken.

The police cut out the power to the office, but it doesn't stop Cho Hyung Joon from getting what he needs before anyone can get to him. When he attempts to escape through a secret passage, Seok Joo is waiting from him at the exit. Meanwhile, the prosecution takes Soo Hyun into custody for the second time.

Mayor Kim finds himself in a crisis because of a Sunday's photo. He begs Seok Joo to let him meet Seok Hoon. When Mayor Kim meets Seok Hoon, he implores him to let him off this once. While Seok Hoon is talking with Mayor Kim, Seok Hoon gets a call from Dong Shik. He soon realizes he was set up and gets furious at Seok Joo.
