Conferences are for people. Technology is just our excuse to show up. A couple weeks ago I braved Penn Station and took the Amtrak to Philadelphia for a brand new conference called CocoaLove. It was ostensibly a technology event for people who design and develop software for Apple products, but the focus was very purposefully on the people, not the tech.
