Ayse spent years in prison after being accused of murdering her husband. Once released, her only wish is to be reunited with her daughter, Zeynep, who was taken from her as a child. Years ago, Ayşe, accused of murdering her husband, gives birth to a baby girl while in prison. With no one left to cling to, her only option is to entrust her baby to her mother-in-law, Suna Saydamel. Suna is a powerful and ruthless businesswoman; she tries to suppress the growing hatred she feels for Ayşe with the love she feels for her granddaughter. For ten years, Ayşe lives with the dream of her daughter, with a few photos that arrive every month being her only solace. However, upon her release, she is confronted with the biggest lie of her life: the child in the photos is not her daughter. A devastated Ayşe secretly learns her daughter's whereabouts. Little Zeynep was adopted by another family years ago and is now being raised by her father, Kemal. Ayşe disguises her identity to approach Zeynep and becomes her nanny. But the longing and protective instinct she feels as a mother quickly turn into a dark determination: she will try everything to take her daughter with her forever.

Every step Ayşe takes to get closer to her daughter is met with Suna breathing down her neck. Suna suspects Ayşe is hiding something and begins to pressure her again. Meanwhile, as Ayşe continues to dream of being with Zeynep, a new obstacle appears in Kemal's life: the return of his ex-wife Pınar. Ayşe now has to fight not only for her daughter but also against her past and her enemies, but a small mistake she makes could cost her everything.
