L’histoire est centrée sur les cinq membres principales du groupe MyGO!!!!!, à savoir Tomori Takamatsu, Anon Chihaya, Rana Kaname, Soyo Nagasaki et Taki Shina. Au terme du printemps de leur première année au lycée, presque toutes les étudiantes de l’académie pour filles de Haneoka font partie d’un groupe de musique. Anon Chihaya, qui a rejoint l’école tardivement, se hâte de trouver des membres pour la fanfare afin de s’intégrer rapidement à sa classe. C’est alors qu’elle découvre que la célèbre « wonder girl de Haneoka », Tomori Takamatsu, n’a pas encore formé de groupe ! Anon décide donc de faire appel à elle, mais leur collaboration est confrontée à de nombreux obstacles. Malgré les cicatrices et les difficultés de leur parcours, elles doivent continuer à avancer et à persévérer.

Band rehearsals aren’t going well, making Taki more and more annoyed. RiNG’s stray cat, Rāna, appears to say she’ll “do the band,” but she leaves as unexpectedly as she arrived, increasing Taki’s frustration. Will they be ready in time for their concert?

Soyo's shock from playing Spring Sunlight without warning, and from seeing Sakiko's tears, has made her drop out of contact with everyone. Anon and Tomori are worried, but Taki says it doesn't matter. Elsewhere, Sakiko asks Uika to meet with her.

Soyo has always behaved as others wanted her to, even when she was very young, but CRYCHiC was the one thing that she held dear and she refuses to believe that it's finished. What will she do? And how will it affect the others?

The members of the band have all gone their separate ways. Tomori is having a hard time sorting through her feelings, so she goes to the planetarium where she happens to meet someone who helps her see a course of action she can take.

Anon, Rāna, Soyo, and Taki were all deeply moved by Tomori's song. The matter is settled. Or at least, that's what they think. Then, they find out that they're scheduled to perform again. What will they do with only one song, no name, and no costumes?
