Adaptation du jeu de carte Ange Vierge. Un jour, un portail "Hairô" s'ouvre subitement, reliant ainsi 5 mondes entre eux : Darkness Embrace (monde noir) ; Terra rubiri aurora (monde rouge) ; System White Egma (monde blanc) ; Grüne Silt (monde vert) ; la Terre (monde bleu). Cette connexion entre les mondes (World Connect) a affaibli les cristaux-monde et une mystérieuse entité du nom d'Ouroboros menace de rapprocher les 5 mondes pour les mener à la destruction. Afin d'éviter le World End, les filles ayant reçu de mystérieux pouvoirs intègrent une académie spéciale sur l'île isolée de Seiran, dans le Pacifique. D'un côté, il y a les Progress, capable de se battre grâce à leur pouvoir (Exceed) et de l'autre les Alpha Driver permettant d'amplifier le pouvoir des Progress en fonction du lien qui les unit. Nous suivons les aventures de Saya Sôgetsu, une élève de rang UC qui cherche à tout prix à devenir une EXR (EX Rebellion), le plus haut grade de l'école. Suite à une attaque surprise sur l'île, l'équipe de Saya va devenir le dernier espoir face à Ouroboros.

C'est sympathique, des combats assez rapides mais je trouve qu'il y a trop de fan-service. Et sinon, l'histoire est classique et qui s'enchaine rapide...
