Venu à Séoul dans le but de restaurer l'honneur de sa famille, il met tout en œuvre pour monter en grade. Il est chargé de contrôler et veiller au respect de la nouvelle règlementation sur la consommation d'alcool. Kang Ro Seo est une noble qui distille secrètement de l'alcool pour gagner de l'argent dans le but de rembourser ses dettes. Le prince Lee Pyo, quant à lui, ne cesse de franchir les murs du palais pour enfreindre la loi et aller boire un verre.

Épisode 1 - Alcohol Prohibition

Nam Young travels all the way to Hanyang to take the civil service examinations and runs into Ro Seo, who is in trouble as usual. Ro Seo works all day and night to earn a living and take care of her older brother, Hae Soo. However, to make things worse, Hae Soo only accumulates more debt, and Ro Seo runs into an illegal liquor store on her way to meet the creditor.
