Then one day she meets Takumi Asaba, the president of her chain, who’s determined to turn his company around by developing a new line of confections. Working with the convenience store chain’s pastry chef, Kiki develops a cream puff recipe for their new line of desserts. But before receiving final approval, her recipe must be judged against a competing cream puff recipe developed by Riho, a member of the company’s sweets department. After returning to her usual job at the convenience store, Kiki is called back to headquarters to hear Takumi’s verdict on the winning cream puff.
