With their hopes for the watermill dashed, the agent persuades Lee and Cheryl to look at village properties. Lee is not keen, but after an eventful search, they view an unmissable property near Granada. Cheryl is convinced, but after four years of searching, Lee is finding it hard to commit.

Épisode 3 - Episode 3

Lee has insisted he and Cheryl drive the entire length of Spain to view an idyllic farmhouse he saw advertised back in the UK. The problem is, he hasn't thought to tell the owner, and there's a whole queue of people waiting to see it. So, much to the owner's chagrin, Lee jumps the queue, and offers to buy it there and then on his credit card.

Épisode 4 - Episode 4

Having failed to secure the farmhouse of their dreams, Lee and Cheryl decide to view again a house they rejected nearly a year ago. It's a beautiful property in a picturesque hamlet, but there's a problem, it doesn't have a road. But, they're on the re-bound, and Lee decides they should risk all and buy it.

Lee and Cheryl decide to rent a temporary base in Spain, so as to be on the spot to snap up a bargain. Lee calls up an old partner in crime, who now lives on the Costa del Sol, and it's all sorted. Their apartment awaits. But when they fly down to check it out, Lee's friend seems to have disappeared.

Lee and Cheryl are finally going to move to Spain. But as Cheryl prepares to leave the job she's been in for 33 years, Lee begins to panic. He's having second thoughts about the whole venture, and worse still, he's no longer convinced that he and Cheryl are right for each other.

Épisode 7 - Episode 7

Lee and Cheryl finally prepare to wave goodbye to Britain, but hear that their ferry has broken down. Twelve hours later, they finally arrive in France, where Lee immediately upsets the locals by deciding to test his patent shower in the middle of a field.

Épisode 8 - Episode 8

On the way to the rented home in Marbella, Lee fulfils his lifelong dream of taking part in a gunfight at the spaghetti western studios near Almeria. But a fight of the domestic variety ensues when torrential rain drives him to pack his bags and head for home.

Épisode 9 - Episode 9

Lee and Cheryl decide to abandon the crowds of Marbella and head for the Spanish countryside, where British estate agent Tim has places to rent and even knows of a derelict snail farm. But a call from home brings their dreams crashing down.

After the death of his 102-year-old gran, Lee feels he has nothing left to hold him back, and is more determined than ever to find the right Spanish property. But to Cheryl's horror he takes her straight to Almeria, where he's heard of some caves going cheap.

Épisode 11 - Episode 11

Having finally found the perfect plot, Lee and Cheryl prepare to leave Wales for the last time. But suddenly, Lee is crippled by an old back injury. He urgently needs an operation, but fearing this could mean the end of their dreams, he decides instead to head back to Spain.

Although Lee and Cheryl are happy in their rented Spanish farmhouse, Lee's physical condition is deteriorating fast. And Lyn and Alan, the owners of the nearby land they hope to buy, are keen to proceed. So Lee is under pressure, and in desperation he tries some unusual alternative cures.

Lee has a brainwave. Although he and Cheryl may not have found a place to buy yet, why should that stop them from starting up a snail farm? All they need do is find someone who has some spare land, and Lee knows just the person.

Lee and Cheryl find an estate agent who guarantees he'll find them the perfect place to buy. Meanwhile, Raphael, their friend from the Spanish Snail Institute, gives his thumbs-up to the suitability of Tim's land for their snail farm. Can this really be all systems go?

Épisode 15 - Episode 15

After four years, it's finally time for Lee and Cheryl to build their snail farm. So, with the help of Raphael, and his incorrigible colleague, Bruno, they start work. But after a euphoric first day, things turn sour, and it looks as though their dreams will bite the dust.

Épisode 1 - Episode 1

It’s been several months since Lee and Cheryl set up their snail farm in Southern Spain. They then promptly returned to the UK leaving the molluscs in the care of a friendly estate agent. In this new series we catch up with Lee and Cheryl and, as always with this couple, things are not as expected. They have now acquired a trout fishery… in North Wales! But they want to return to sunnier climes as soon as possible and are hoping to swap the Welsh fishery for a new place in Spain.

Épisode 2 - Episode 2

Lee and Cheryl are still trying to come up with a scheme that will enable them to leave their fishery in Wales and move back to Southern Spain. Selling log cabins or mobile homes might be the answer but potential business partners prove either elusive or rather evangelical. They can always fall back on their Spanish snail farm which they left in the hands of their estate agent. But when they go to check on their molluscs, they’re in for a bit of a shock.

Épisode 3 - Episode 3

Lee and Cheryl are back in Southern Spain looking for a new business venture. Having discovered that, in their absence, their snail farm has returned to nature, they are now looking at the possibility of selling mobile homes in the Spanish countryside. And it’s Cheryl who finds that she has a knack for a quick sale much to Lee’s chagrin. This could be their future but as always, they can never agree on anything.

Épisode 4 - Episode 4

Lee and Cheryl are back in Southern Spain but instead of heading for the Costa del Sol where Cheryl has been promised a job selling mobile homes, Lee heads for the Atlantic coast. Lee, of course, has a new plan, developing a caravan park near Cape Trafalger. But it is when they discover a site full of containers being converted into homes that Lee gets really excited, much to Cheryl’s incredulity.

Épisode 5 - Episode 5

In their quest to move to Spain, Lee and Cheryl try to exchange their fishery in North Wales for an old Spanish farmhouse but they can’t agree on a price. Becoming impatient with the slow way things are going, Lee decides to look at another plot of land. Meanwhile the fishery’s care –taking manager Nick falls foul of Lee’s methods and a rift ensues.

Épisode 6 - Episode 6

Lee and Cheryl have hit an all time low – an attempt to swop their fishery for a Spanish farmhouse didn't go to plan. Lee has a major bust up with Nick, the manager at the fishery and decides to put the whole place up for sale. But can he find anyone to buy it ? And out in Spain their estate agent Julio sets about finding them a decent place to stay.

Épisode 7 - Episode 7

Lee and Cheryl are expecting to complete on the sale of their fishery but there’s a last minute hitch. And when they do finally make it to Spain tempers are running high – but then that’s not unusual with Lee and Cheryl… Despite having somewhere to stay, a potential job and living near to friends, these two are still not happy. But will they ever be ? !
