Épisode 1 - 1. Bölüm

Doğan, a successful surgeon in Izmir, is forced to return to the family he has stayed away from for years after the struggles he faced in the emergency room. Coming to Istanbul for his sister's wedding, Doğan faces accounts he thought he had left behind in the past, finding himself in the middle of the power struggles within the Hancıoğlu family. On one side is the authoritarian father Tahir, and on the other is his brother Sinan, whose ambitions know no bounds. While Doğan’s arrival upsets the balance within the family, Çağla, a young and beautiful lawyer acting with a sense of justice, is unintentionally dragged into this chaos because of her beloved brother Behram. As the paths of the two cross in an irreversible way, their fates begin to be rewritten. The unexpected developments that follow drive Doğan to stay with his family for much longer than he planned, even if he does not want to.

The attack suffered by Tahir Hancıoğlu on the wedding night suddenly drags the Hancıoğlu family into a prosecution investigation and public pressure. As Melek becomes a wanted person on the allegation of wounding her father with a scalpel, time is running out. While Doğan follows the trail to clear his sister and reach the truth, the picture painted by Sinan turns into a line of suspicion that Doğan must follow step by step. On the prosecution side, Çağla tries to establishes a risky balance to both ensure Melek gives her statement and prevent the case from closing in Behram's favor. While Tahir's condition remains critical in the hospital, the tension within the family gradually escalates. Çağla finds Tahir's will in Sinan's car and learns that Sinan has been disinherited and everything has been left to Doğan. This fact upsets the already fragile balances; the investigation intensifies, and Doğan and his family simultaneously enter a pincer of accusations, secrets, and confrontation.

While the Hancıoğlu family is shaken by what happened to Tahir, Melek's arrest on murder charges deeply wounds the family. Shouting that she was kidnapped and is innocent, Melek is sent to prison when a forged passport surfaces. Doğan is caught between his sense of justice and anger, feeling the helplessness of leaving his sister behind iron bars. While the balance within the family is overturned, the possibility of Doğan becoming the head of the family according to Tahir's will ignites the fuse of new conflicts. Behram's dark plans, Sinan's past mistakes, and Çağla's stance between her conscience and reality drag everyone onto a path of no return. While Doğan is determined to push his limits to save Melek, a much greater danger awaits Melek as she tries to survive in prison.

While Doğan and Yılmaz try to find the names behind the armed attack that took place in the container park, Çağla being shot turns all balances upside down. It is realized that the main target of the attack was not Çağla, but the envelope and photos in her hand. Doğan realizes that this dark organization surrounds the family much more deeply than he thought. Despite her wound, Çağla does not step back; she is determined to stay by Doğan’s side to both save Melek and reveal Behram’s truth. On the other hand, while Sinan and Altın are cleaning up in a panic to erase the traces of the past, Didem follows everything step by step and confronts the duo with a blackmail card using the images she has acquired. As the crisis within the family grows, an old photograph that falls into Doğan’s hands opens the door to Behram’s secret past and directs them to a nursing home. In this process, a new nightmare awaits Melek in prison, while new surprises emerge with Genco’s unexpected visit.

Doğan kidnaps Behram from the front of the courthouse, restarting a reckoning that remained unfinished in the past. While the big secrets Behram hides threaten not only his own but also the Hancioglu family's dark past, this confrontation is the only way for Doğan to both save his sister Melek and lighten the burden of conscience he has carried for years. As Behram speaks of a black box that will prove his innocence and reveal the true murderer of Master Yusuf, nothing will ever be the same for Doğan. On the other hand, Çağla experiences the biggest disappointment of her life when she confronts Behram's true identity. Learning that the man she knew as her brother has been lying to her for years pushes her to re-question everything she knows about Doğan and the Hancıoğlu family. As suspicions about her father's death deepen, Çağla is forced to suppress her emotions and stay caught between two fires in order to reach the truth.

Doğan and Çağla find themselves unexpectedly in the middle of a dangerous game set by Şimşek. While the photographs placed in their hands reveal that it was Sinan who attacked Tahir, Şimşek’s proposal makes everything even more complicated. In exchange for Melek’s freedom, Doğan must leave Istanbul within three days. This decision, made under the shadow of family secrets and past sins, forces Doğan to confront both his brother and his own conscience. On the other hand, Çağla is shaken by the truth she learns about her father's death. The fact that Sinan's name is mentioned in both the attack on Tahir and a murder from years ago upsets the balance within the family. In the mansion, while Tahir opening his eyes creates hope, the severe seizure he suffers takes everyone's breath away. As Doğan tries to bring his father back to life, Sinan is cornered, and the confrontation between the two brothers progresses to the point where guns are drawn.

The news of Melek’s suicide attempt leaves everyone devastated. Shaken by the sound of gunfire at the warehouse, Doğan manages to save Sinan, but a domino stone he finds on the ground leads the trail of that night’s events back to Çağla. Melek’s survival after her life-and-death struggle at the hospital provides the family with a deep sense of relief. However, the fact that Melek receives solitary confinement and that Genco is behind this process ignites the fuse of a new tension. Doğan pushes his limits to protect his sibling; his confrontation with Genco leads to an irreversible rupture between the two sides. Meanwhile, Behram’s true identity and past reckonings begin to surface. The great love Sinan experienced years ago and its tragic end shed new light on today’s enmities.

The crisis that erupts at the iftar table in Hancıoğlu Mansion turns all the balances of the night upside down. The sudden outcry of Mahinur, who has not spoken a single word for years, shakes both the family and the past. While Doğan fights to bring Mahinur back to life, Çağla experiences the hope and fear of hearing her sister's voice for the first time. On the other hand, Behram takes action to remove Mahinur from the mansion. However, the real storm breaks between Doğan and Çağla, who confront each other at the place where Master Yusuf died. They speak about the truth that has been hidden for years. Yusuf's killer is Tahir, and Doğan witnessed everything that night. While Doğan, living with the pangs of conscience, says he is ready to pay the price, nothing will ever be the same for Çağla.
