Renamed Super Friends in 1980, the series changed formats again, abandoning the production of half-hour episodes and producing seven-minute shorts. Each episode of Super Friends would feature a rerun from one of the previous six years and three new shorts. These new adventures featured appearances by the core group of five Super Friends and Zan, Jayna & Gleek. There were also guest appearances from members previously depicted in Challenge of the Super Friends and the Hanna-Barbera-created hero El Dorado, who was added to the show to provide cultural diversity. This would prove to be one of the longer-lived incarnations of the series (three years).

Épisode 1 - Big Foot

When Apache Chief and a tribe of Native Americans are captured by aliens that look like the mythical Bigfoot, Batman and Robin try to help but are themselves imprisoned. Later, however, they all manage to escape and discover that the aliens did not mean harm. They were only looking for help in repairing their spaceship. The Wonder Twins and two other kids get trapped deep within the ski slopes. Meanwhile at the snow lodge, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are investigating a mysterious Ice Monster story. Clark sees the teens in danger with his X-ray vision and comes to their rescue as Superman. He traps the Ice Monster again. Bud, a fed-up make up artist for a movie studio, decides to redo a monster mask for a government film using his untested hormone solution. As the unsuspecting make up artist puts on the monster mask, the experimental hormone solution reacts strangely with his skin, changing him into the very monster he created. The Flash, Batman and Robin, who were in the studio supervising the government film, encounter Bud and dare to challenge his reign of terror. The Flash points out the only way to stop Bud is to counteract the make up formula. Batman agrees and comes up with a formula using some material from the Batmobile. When the heroes turn Bud back to normal, the director offers them a contract to star in his next film. However, Batman points out that they already signed a lifetime contract with the Justice League.
Épisode 2 - The Ice Demon

While monitoring the galaxy from his impenetrable Fortress of Solitude, Superman notices a Black Hole that is going to suck up the Earth. Superman attempts to stop it but gets himself pulled into the Black Hole. Using the Bat-Rocket, Batman and Samurai set out to accomplish what Superman failed to do. However, the two heroes end up getting pulled into an Asteroid Planet in the center of the Black Hole. Upon finding Superman imprisoned, the heroes are attacked by a Star Energy Creature. The Super Friends must break free and stop the Star Creature from absorbing the Earth.
Épisode 3 - The Make-Up Monster

A group of archaeologists accidentally releases Yuna the Terrible and her barbarian warriors. Batman and Robin responds to a distress call but get captured by Yuna's warriors. Wonder Woman and Apache Chief respond to the Batman's distress call. During an encounter with Yuna, Apache Chief gets put into a trance and joins Yuna and her warriors. Wonder Woman tries to save them and must prove her strength against Yuna. A group of Rock and Roll Space Bandits paralyze the Super Friends and invade a major city on Earth using their hypnotic music. The Wonder Twins come to the rescue but get hypnotized. Wonder Woman helps the rest of the Super Friends get free and they rush off to stop those musical menaces. Batman uses a device to stop the sound waves.
Épisode 4 - Journey into Blackness

Green Lantern and Superman must stop the reign of terror caused by Martians who traveled to Earth in a returning space probe. They are finally tricked into returning to Mars. A group of teens dare each other to go into the old Brimstone Mansion in the cemetery, a place that is said to be haunted. Two of them go in the mansion and get trapped inside. The other two ask the Wonder Twins go inside to look for the other boys but get captured by old man Holmes, the cemetery's paranoid caretaker. Gleek informs Batman & Robin who come to the rescue and stop Holmes cold in his tracks.
Épisode 5 - Cycle Gang

Vampiress, the Voodoo Vampire from Africa, goes after the Super Friends and seeks to make them her vampire slaves. It's now up to Wonder Woman and Black Vulcan to go her underground tomb and stop her. A group of Exxorian monkeys arrive on Earth to invade the Planet. The monkeys want to destroy the Super Friends by putting Gleek under their control. The Wonder Twins must use their powers to help Gleek and the Super Friends.
Épisode 6 - Dive to Disaster

Superman must save Earth from a giant alien beast. While at the circus, the Wonder Twins and Gleek witness the revenge of circus animals as they zap the audience in a trance. The animals capture Gleek and zap the Wonder Twins as well, who they send off to lure Superman and Wonder Woman into a trap at the circus. The circus animals eventually turn the Super Friends into Super animals. Gleek frees Zan and Jayna from the trance, now it's up to the Wonder Twins and Gleek to free Superman and Wonder Woman and to end to this circus once and for all.
Épisode 7 - Yuna the Terrible

Termites come from a meteorite sent from Venus to Earth by a Volcanic eruption. They start consuming the World. Superman, Batman and Robin, and Samurai defeat them, finally sending them into space. The Wonder Twins rescue a part of reckless hangliders who fell into a volcano. Soon after the volcano starts erupting. Jayna calls Batman & Robin, who help the Wonder Twins rescue the rest of the town and stop the lava flow.
Épisode 8 - Rock & Roll Space Bandits

The IBN computer research facility creates Romac,the most advanced compupter the world has ever known. When tested, Romac turns on his IBN creators and tries to destroy the Super Friends by turning the Justice League Computer and the Supermobile against them. Batman, Robin, and Black Vulcan have to shut Romac down before he can do more damage.
Épisode 9 - Elevator to Nowhere

Streaking in the Invisible Jet, Wonder Woman and The Atom answer a distress call on the emergency scanner from a Dr. Wells. Wells' call was actually a trap to get Wonder Woman and The Atom to test out his new time machine. Wonder Woman starts pressing buttons attempting to escape but actually starts the Time Machine to send The Atom and herself to December 1776. General George Washington mistakes Wonder Woman for a spy and attempts to capture her. The two heroes escape and move further back into the past to a 17th century galleon where they are confronted by Black Beard. After saving The Atom, Wonder Woman and Atom escape in the time machine. The Atom decides to shrink down to microscopic size to rewire the circuits in the time Machine to go back to 1980. When they come back Dr. Wells tries to elude them by using the Time Machine to escape. The heroes travel millions of years in the Pre historic past to capture him.

The Wonder Twins investigate the disappearance of two teens, but are captured by a paranoid caretaker when they enter a haunted house. Fortunately, Batman and Robin are nearby and help the Twins and the missing teens out of their bind.
Épisode 12 - The Incredible Crude Oil Monster

When a machine made to clean up oil spills falls into some crude oil, it creates a powerful monster made of oil. Aquaman, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl must find some way to stop this monster.
Épisode 13 - Voodoo Vampire

A voodoo practicing vampire from Africa named Vampirus attacks the SuperFriends. She takes control of Batman, Robin, Superman, and Aquaman and must be foiled by the efforts of Wonder Woman and Black Vulcan.

An army of monkeys from the planet Exxor come to Earth intent on conquering it. They take control of Gleek and the SuperFriends must work together to stop them.

Mr. Mxyzptlk returns and annoys the SuperFriends with a magic typewriter that can send the SuperFriends into any story he chooses.
Épisode 16 - The Man in the Moon

An enormous Moon Monster threatens the Earth. Because of its immense size the SuperFriends are at a loss to deal with it. Eventually, Apache Chief is taught the secret of atomic energy by the Atom and is able to increase his power a thousandfold to match the immense size of the Moon Monster.

The SuperFriends must deal with the Riddler who has sprayed them with a mind numbing stupid spray. They must solve his riddles or their intelligence will be lowered to that of two-year-olds.

When termites from Venus arrive on Earth, they begin to eat everything on the planet. The SuperFriends must find some way to stop them.
Épisode 20 - Eruption

When a volcano erupts it endangers the people of a small town. Batman, Robin and the Wonder Twins come to their aid.
Épisode 21 - Return of Atlantis

Aquaman is captured by Ocina when the lost city of Atlantis rises from the sea. Ocina plans to conquer the world with her female warriors. Wonder Woman and Rima the Jungle Girl gather the Amazons of Paradise Island to stop her.
Épisode 22 - The Killer Machines

Batman and Robin run into trouble when they must face a computer A.I. named ROMAK that is able to control any electronic device including the Hall of Justice computer and the Batmobile.
Épisode 23 - Garden of Doom

When the Wonder Twins are accidently skrunk by a shrinking ray being tested at Metropolis University, they confront dangers in a normal every day garden because of their incredibly small size. Wonder Woman must find a way of saving them and getting them back to their normal sizes.

Bizarro attacks the SuperFriends by turning them into Bizarro-Superheroes that think like him. He also exposes Superman to Red Kryptonite which causes him to grow extra arms and legs. Superman manages to stop Bizarro by exposing him to Blue Kryptonite.

A group of bounty hunters from the planet Orion capture the SuperFriends in order to collect a reward. The SuperFriends must find some way to escape from them. The Wonder Twins find a magic lamp, the evil Space Genie of it gives them three wishes, which lead to trouble. However with the last wish, they never used the lamp.

Batman, Robin, and the Wonder Twins are thrown into a movie by Mr. Mxyzptlk. Wonder Woman arrives to help a sheriff and investigate why a giant Cobra is creating sink holes. Shortly after, Wonder Woman and the Sheriff are captured by a giant mechanical cobra. Superman and The Atom rush to the aid of Wonder Woman and help her defeat Diamond Jack and his mechanical cobra.
Épisode 3 - Scorpio

Zy-Kree, an escapee from the Phantom Zone (who is very similar to General Zod in both appearance and back story) seeks revenge on Superman by turning the Earth's sun red and thus depowering the man of steel while hiding in the Fortress of Solitude. It is up to Green Lantern and Aquaman to help their friend defeat the evil Kryptonian who has the same powers as Superman. Finally he is sent back to the Phantom Zone.
Épisode 4 - Mxyzptlks's Flick

After saving a Killer Whale, Aquaman notices the water is on fire and radios Wonder Woman for help who then tells Superman. Meanwhile Aquaman, with the help of his Whale friend helps move a ship from the path of the flaming water. . Solderath, King of the Lava Men, wreaks havoc on the surface world because he feels the Lava Men have been living underground for too long while the humans occupy the surface.
Épisode 5 - Sink Hole

Superman finds a mysterious purple ray that is lifting objects in downtown Metropolis. Batman uses the Justice League computer from the Hall of Justice to try to control the beam while Black Vulcan and the Atom joins Superman in Metropolis. They find out the the Iron Cyclops who is projecting the ray lives on a planet has no gravity and he wants to steal the Earth's.

When Earth's sun suddenly turns red, Superman loses his powers. The SuperFriends discover that a Kryptonian named Zycree has escaped from the Phantom Zone and is causing the sun to turn red in order to get revenge on Superman. In order to save Superman, the SuperFriends must stop Zycree.
Épisode 8 - The Creature from the Dump

A chemical spill in a junkyard produces a powerful junk monster that manages to infect Batman when the SuperFriends arrive to stop it. Batman turns into a junk monster and Robin and the Wonder Twins must find a cure before it is too late for Batman.

A strange thunderstorm turns airplanes into winged creatures. Batman, Robin, and the Wonder Twins must figure out some way to reverse the effects of the thunderstorm.

The king of the Lava Men arrives on the surface of the Earth through an erupting volcano. When he tries to take over the planet the SuperFriends must join forces to stop him.

Bizarro tricks Superman and Black Vulcan into coming to his planet. There the SuperFriends are amazed by the strange world and try to avoid the always dangerous Bizarro.

The SuperFriends travel to Japan when a Warlord from Japan's past plots to take it over through the use of a magic amulet that provides for him a powerful army.
Épisode 13 - The Iron Cyclops

A strange alien known as the Iron Cyclops tries to steal Earth's gravity. As Batman scrambles to keep everything on the ground, the SuperFriends must fly off into space in order to confront and stop the Iron Cyclops.

Wonder Woman and El Dorado must deal with an evil artist named John Palette who paints monsters and uses an electronic device to brings them to life to steal.

An gigantic alien named Colossuss comes to Earth. When his enormous size begins to endanger the planet, however, Superman and Apache Chief must work together in order to get rid of him.

An alien with the ability to project false images of itself stows away on an unmanned space ship. When he comes to Earth he tries to take it over. Superman and the Wonder Twins must figure out some way to stop him.
Épisode 17 - The Scaraghosta Sea

When a submarine is sucked into a giant whirlpool, Aquaman takes Batman and Robin to an underwater ship's graveyard. There they discover that the crew of the submarine is being held hostage by a groups of pirates who are intending to use the submarine to get back to the surface. The SuperFriends must rescue the hostages and stop the pirates.

At an arcade a witch uses a device to shrink the Wonder Twins and Wonder Woman. She forces them to play games. In order to regain their normal size, Wonder Woman and the Wonder Twins must win games and escape.

When Superman and Batman are forced into Mr. Mxyzptlk's home dimension they are subjected to his annoying pranks. Even worse, however, getting Mr. Mxyzptlk to say his name backwards doesn't get rid of him.

A club forces a pledge to take part in a dangerous initiation. He must ride on a condemned roller coaster. When the ride starts to break down, the Wonder Twin and the Atom must save him.

The SuperFriends head to Gotham City to investigate a building which is mysteriously shaking. Apache Chief discovers that the shaking is being caused by the spirit of a Mohawk Indian who thinks that the building was constructed over a sacred burial site.

When Superman and Batman try to stop a meteor from hitting Metropolis, they are pulled into another dimension and turned into animals. Superman and Batman must fight the dimension's animal residents and find some way of returning to normal.
Épisode 5 - Two Gleeks Are Deadlier Than One

The Wonder Twins guard the Hall of Justice while the SuperFriends are having an important meeting. When Gleek is kidnapped by Gorilla Grodd and Giganta, he is replaced with an evil robot Gleek that is determined to destory the SuperFriends.

Superman goes through a time warp and ends up saving his home planet Krypton before it explodes. Superman, however, is shocked to discover how changing the past also changes the future of Earth.

Alien dolls from outer space attack Earth by disguising themselves as children's toys. When the dolls take out Batman and Robin, the Wonder Twins must act quickly to stop the invaders.

When the sunken ship Titanic is discovered by two divers, they are shocked to discover that a mutant algae has turned the ship into a enormous monster. Aquaman and Black Vulcan must work together to stop the rampaging creature.
Épisode 10 - Revenge of Doom

The Legion of Doom reunites and captures Batman and Robin. They also manage to immobilize Superman and Wonder Woman with one of Lex Luthor's evil inventions. The SuperFriends must free themselves and and stop the Legion of Doom before they commit any more crimes.

When a young boy is in desperate need of a blood transfusion, the Wonder Twins and Aquaman head to the Amazon jungle to find his father who, because of a rare blood type, is the only viable donor.

When the Hall of Justice falls deep within the Earth, Wonder Woman and Samurai must choose sides in a war between two hostile underground civilizations.
Épisode 13 - Return of the Phantoms

After three criminals named Logar, Hol, and Romlok escape from the phantom zone, they travel back in time in order to destroy Superman when he was just Superboy. The SuperFriends must figure out some way to stop them.

After Batman loses his utility belt, it is found by a young high school boy who uses it in order to get back a number of bullies.
Épisode 15 - Superclones

Brainiac clones Aquaman and El Dorado creating two evil Superheroes. The clones capture the real Aquaman and El Dorado and them commit crimes in an effort to ruin the good name of the SuperFriends. The clones surrender to the authorities in order to be put on trial. Aquaman and El Dorado must escape and clear their good names.

Superman and Batman fall into a deep sleep and experience terrible nightmares after encountering a released demon in a coal mine. Wonder Woman must follow them into their dreams in order to wake them up.

When a group of children are whisked away on an alien spaceship, the Wonder Twins must figure out some way to save them before the ship returns to its home world.
Épisode 18 - The Malusian Blob

An alien blob born of the waste of another planet arrives on Earth and when freed goes on a rampage. Batman is able to stop it when he discovers that sugar can destroy it.
Épisode 19 - Attack of the Cats

When two scientists are turned into strange cat creature, the SuperFriends must figure out what happened in order to help them. There task is not a simple one and only gets more difficult when Robin is turned into a cat creature.
Épisode 20 - One Small Step for Superman

After being chased by a bear, a young boy is injured in a fall. When he wakes up he learns that his dog is missing and that he cannot move his legs. When doctors examine him, however, they don't find anything physically wrong with the boy and believe that the problem may be psychological. The SuperFriends are called in to help the boy in hopes of getting him to walk again.

Bizarro somehow manages to trap the SuperFriends in a video game. They must find a way out of the game and stop the sinister Bizarro.
Épisode 22 - Playground of Doom

When three enormous alien children arrive on Earth, they begin to play with the world as if everything were merely their toys. The SuperFriends must find a way of stopping the children's rampant destruction.
Épisode 23 - Space Racers

The Wonder Twins are harassed while traveling in space by a gang of aliens that are only interested in racing. In order to reign them in, the Wonder Twins get the help of the Flash and Wonder Woman.
Épisode 24 - The Recruiter

When Superman and Wonder Woman are kidnapped by aliens, they are forced to play an ultra-competitive game named Spaceball. The two SuperFriends, however, are able to turn the tide on their captors by promoting teamwork.
