Bien que particulièrement doué dans sa profession, Takumi Miyasaka, un chef cuisinier, vient d’être licencié. Peu de temps après, il décroche un nouvel emploi dans une vieille pension familiale nommée Astro-sou, mais hésite à accepter après avoir appris qu’il devra également y vivre à plein temps, au contact de ses excentriques résidents. Ce qui va le décider, c’est sa rencontre avec Mira Gotokuji : la belle et charmante gardienne des lieux. Rapidement, Takumi et Mira commencent à travailler ensemble, et plus le temps passe, plus leur relation s’approfondit. Toutefois, il y a un détail que le cuisinier ignore sur sa nouvelle collègue : celle-ci n’est pas de ce monde !
