Aoyanagi Hajime est un acteur de 25 ans qui a débuté très jeune, mais qui est très pessimiste. Akafuji Yuichiro est un jeune talent de 23 ans déjà très reconnu et aimé du public. Les deux jeunes hommes vont jouer le couple principal d'un manga très populaire. Cependant, ils manquent cruellement d'alchimie et Yuichiro se montre étrangement froid avec son partenaire. Afin de briser la glace, Yayoi, la productrice de la série, va suggérer qu'ils cohabitent, comme les personnages qu'ils devront interpréter ! Hajime est enthousiaste car il souhaite que la série soit un succès tandis que Yuichiro panique à l'idée de se retrouver encore plus proche de lui.
